Great Model Train Show – Atlanta March 18, 2017

Wish we could have gone both days. I wanted to buy some stuff but I resisted. So many good vendors were there.

Burlington Northern Rivarossi Passenger Set

The Burlington Northern 1930s 8 car passenger train by Rivarossi sold in A and B Set 4 packs. Has Baggage, RPO (Mail), Coach, Roomette, Diner, Vista Dome, Duplex Sleeper, and Tail Car. The only one I know to place correctly is the tail car – lol! Since I do not own a proper BN passenger train locomotive to pull it, I got the Santa Fe E6A and E6B units to pull it (these are Life-Like Proto 2000 Models).

Hornby Stephenson’s Rocket

Set up our Hornby Trains Track on our table with some of our LEGO Star Wars UCS Sets. The purpose was to test the Hornby Stephenson’s Rocket on Hornby Track. First I tested the Hornby Thomas, Annie, & Clarabel to make sure everything was good. Then we tested the rocket and it worked!

Oliver Collection Thomas & Friends

Oliver is one hard to find locomotive. We have the Tomy version now as well as Take N Play and Thomas Wooden Railway. There is also our Hornby Trains version. Bachmann is supposed to be releasing one as they have been promising for a year and a half now. We will get it as soon as it is released.

I think it is time we can back to doing Slot Cars vs Trains. It’s really what got us started on YouTube. I should take requests. Plus we need to do more trains races

Large Thomas the Tank Engine Collection

My largest Thomas and Friends Collection video so far! Almost all of our Thomas and Friends characters, freight, passenger cars, etc. LEGO DUPLO Thomas, MEGA Bloks, HO Scale, OO Gauge, O Scale, Large Scale, N Scale, Bachmann, Hornby, Lionel, Take-N-Play, Take Along, Trackmaster, Tomy, Plarail, Thomas Wooden Railway, Learning Curve, Thomas Minis, Ertl, and many more! I was still feeling sick so my son did the talking for me. Will perhaps do a more in depth discussion. There are a few that have been left out of this video so we need to get those in there. What type of Thomas and Friends is your favorite and who is your favorite character?

Large Scale Emily

We got the large scale Emily by Bachmann Trains. It’s a really nice model. Our YouTube video always contains a haul of tons of stuff that we will be building and showing on our channel including Mega Bloks Thomas and Chuggington.

Percy’s Mail Train

We added two more mail coaches to our trackmaster/tomy collection: green mail coaches! Now we have at least 10 (I think I couldn’t find one). So in this video we show all our Sodor Mail coaches and have a bonus appearance of Whiff Banana surprise Take N Play set.
