This Bachmann Train Set is actually Glow in the Dark! Purchased through Bradford Exchange (an over priced retailer if ever there was).

Finally the freight cars for Skarloey to pull. A blue box van, red box van, and open wagon. Very tiny! They are technically HO Scale (HOn3 I think) as they are NARROW Gauge – so they run on N Gauge track.
The NEW Skarloey Bachmann HO Scale Narrow Gauge (runs on N gauge track) has arrived finally! We just got this December 21, 2015. More videos coming with more details. We hope to get the box vans and open wagon as well. The retail prices are a bit ridiculous. Skarloey is $150 and the cars are $50 each! We found Skarloey on Amazon for $100
The latest track master set with special design. Plus we show some of the rest of our collection including model trains!
Don’t forget about our giveaway that ends in a few days:
Must look closer at auctions on eBay. These are knock off dark side clone trains. The magnets are wrong and Clarabel must face the wrong direction. From China
We just got the James the Red Engine G Scale or Large Scale train set made by Lionel from 1994! It is a really neat set. From the “Shining Time Station” era of Thomas & Friends. Has moving eyes and swappable faces. Despite its age it performed great! This is our second Large Scale train. The first was made by Bachmann:
Will have to get them out together to compare.
We added Terence the Tractor to our layout. It is an HO Scale Bachmann accessory that we got at Hobby Town USA. One of the few times I found something actually cheaper there than online. Terence tries to help the Hornby Percy since all the other characters are off to the Great Race. This is my first attempt at voicing characters too.
We now have all the Bachmann Thomas & Friends Characters. I do not know if I can name them all from memory because there are so many! Doanld & Douglas the Scottish twins were are last two to add and they are great! Beautiful looking steamies.
Now we have Thomas, Light & Sound Thomas, Edward, James, Percy, Toby, Mavis, Diesel, Ben, Bill, ‘Arry, Bert, Gordon, Henry, Spencer, Emily, Salty, Duck, Donald, and Douglas! Did I leave anybody out? There are some new ones coming soon.
We still need to get some more of the rolling stick and are considering whether or not to get some more of the Hornby models. I have not been as impressed with the Hornby quality and the locomotives, plus they are much more expensive for me to acquire. What do you think – should we try some more of the Hornby?
Getting some more Hornby models. It is very difficult for me to find these at a reasonable price here in the USA. Actually found these on Amazon. Hoping to get some more passenger coaches, but so far the best prices I can find are close to $35 per car. Overseas shipping is the main problem. But nice to get some variety from Hornby to go with the Bachmann HO scale freight & passenger cars we have.
