Hornby Murdoch Locomotive – Thomas & Friends

This is one of the best locomotives I have ever purchased. Love the look of Murdoch from Thomas & Friends. Will do more with him in upcoming videos. Had to get this Hornby locomotive from eBay seller in the UK

Flying Scotsman – Plus Hornby Models Don’t Work Well on Atlas Track

Picked up this very nice Flying Sctosman Train set on eBay. Everything looks nice and operates well with one exception – the Hornby passenger cars do not work on Atlas track at the switch machine frogs. I do not think they were designed for that. The wheel flanges are apparently deeper than on other models. It looks so nice though. I will see if a can find away to fix it without having to switch to Hornby track.

Percy vs Percy

A battle to see which is stronger – Hornby Percy or Bachmann Percy. I prefer to Bachmann Percy of the Hornby. The Bachmann runs smoother and looks better in my opinion, but Hornby is faster and stronger.

Hornby Tank Cars Added!

Getting some more Hornby models. It is very difficult for me to find these at a reasonable price here in the USA. Actually found these on Amazon. Hoping to get some more passenger coaches, but so far the best prices I can find are close to $35 per car. Overseas shipping is the main problem. But nice to get some variety from Hornby to go with the Bachmann HO scale freight & passenger cars we have.
