This is our 3 Thomas & Friends G Scale set. All 3 are different track. This is the newer Lionel G Scale Track. We also have James with the older style track and Percy with Bachmann track. The couplers can be changed from Knuckle couplers to European style couplers. Would like to set up track outside with these eventually!
Got another Chuggington Bachmann HO Scale set. They did not make very many Chuggington train sets. We only need a couple of more to have them all. I wish they made an Emery set or more than just the one passenger car (which is one of the two we do not have). These Bachmann locomotives are faster than the THomas & Friends Engines. They are very simple and seem to be able to withstand play from children a little better than traditional model trains. Not a lot of small parts to break off. Enjoyed adding these to the collection!
These TOMY Chuggington Stack Tracks are really neat – and especially at $5 a piece at Toys R Us (regular price was $40). We may pick up a few more if there are still any left. These are fun and we tried some slow motion filming with it as well. We now have Wilson, Brewster, and Emery in Die-Cast form.
We have all of the Thomas & Friends characters now (although there is another Thomas) and would like to race them. So we will work on the match-ups. Please comment on the video if there are any match-ups you would like to see. I am thinking of using a 20 team single elimination bracket like this:
