Having fun with the Take n Play Thomas & Friends Roaring Dino Run play set. Thomas rolls down from an avalanche and has to face T-Rex, Indominus Rex, Velociraptors, and more on the way to deliver the fossils. For a little tank engine he performed quite well
This is a review from my BrickTsar LEGO channel. Eventually I will be doing videos of ALL my trains on my TrainTsarFun channel, but I would like them to have a different format – perhaps more about play and silliness. This is a very strange train set. It is called Cargo Railway, but it has passengers and cargo on the same rail cars. Very odd, but then it is designed for kids and not adult collectors.
We picked up the newest Thomas the Tank Engine locomotive – the speed-activated sound Thomas. This video has our first test with it. I need to try it with the Bachmann transformer, as I feel it is missing a sound. I think it should have the steam exhaust sound when it comes to a stop (but maybe I am reading to much into the description).
It is almost identical in appearance to the previous version but it has a black from (fake) coupler (thanks to TrainBoy7 for noticing!)

Comparing the Mega Bloks Percy the Small Engine to the LEGO Duplo version. The LEGO version is much larger and stockier. I still prefer LEGO over Mg=ega Bloks any day. Will be reviewing all the Thomas & Friends DUPLO sets on Train Tsar Fun soon.
We had a race with our various Thomas & Friends locomotives to see which is the fastest. See the video to find the winner. We will do another in the future as some of the locomotives don’t perform as well on the crossings and switch tracks. It was fun doing this and there were a couple of accidents.
We recreated the Thomas the Tank Engine appearance in the Ant-Man Movie and talked (for fun) about what went wrong. Movie is very funny and entertaining.
I have been looking all over for our videos and pics from years ago when we went to Thomas Big Day Out. Have yet to find it, but I have been finding other goodies like these pics from our old Thomas the Tank Engine Collection. Blue Track Tomy Trains!
Showing all of our collection of wooden train Percy the Small Engine. Most came from Leokimvideo. Love the sound effects as well as the motorized unit. The motorized Percy does not perform well on the tight curves. But this stuff is a lot of fun. I can see why kids would like it!
A-Team train is working fine despite be 30 years old. We will be applying the stickers and combining it with the A-Team Slot Cars.
The Bachmann Sound Value locomotive was missing parts. The store I bought it from (Bargain Hunt) said I could contact the manufacture and they would send the replacement parts or a new item. I didn’t feel like dealing with the hassle. If it had been a road name that I really like I might have done that.
