Percy had become my favorite Thomas & Friends character. This was my 1st video with the Lionel version. More videos to come.
Interestingly, some of the funniest mishaps (unplanned) have come from Percy in my collection. He won the train battle from the Trackmaster trains. He made a daring track change on my HO layout. Sadly, he has a defective coupler on my Lionel version, but that makes for some funny moments too since he leaves the trucks behind! I use tape to prevent that.
This is my old table and setup for my LEGO trains and city. This is about to get s major reorganization. I have my new area painted and set up. All that is left to do is paint the table and after the paint dries enough we can begin setting things up again. I also need to at some point change the fluorescent lighting to LED lighting, but that can wait for now. With my new set up the backgrounds and lighting should be much better!

I didn’t know about all the features and options on the camera at that time. I need to redo the video of this Lionel Thomas & Friends set – James the Red Engine. I love these trains. Will be featuring more Lionel trains in coming months. I will be remaking my review and play of this set.
Here are some scenes from the LEGO display that was at the 2013 NMRA Train Show. Most of the participants here are in the LUG I have recently joined (DixieLUG). I plan to be more active with the LUG and create my in MOCs to take to these shows in the future.
Hi! Thanks for watching TrainTsarFun on YouTube and for finding this website and blog. I began TrainTsarFun a year ago when I realized I needed a channel to feature train content in addition to LEGO trains. My original channel, jolson37, is getting crowded. That channel will be renamed soon.
So while I knew I would be featuring train content, I wasn’t sure yet where to begin. So my first post was an old video I took at the 2013 NMRA train show of a 100 car freight train (I plan to try this for myself eventually). Thus, my channel had begun. It would not be until recently that I finally got more involved and regular with the content.
So look for more content. My goal is to grow this channel past the level that BrickTsar(my LEGO only channel) is. So we will see if it can be done!
