My son and I are hard at work getting ready for Philly Brick Fest 2017! I may to to rent a trailer to get everything we would like to take there! This layout by PennLUG was amazing and has us wanting to make more LEGO customs!
Glad I got to go and participate at Philly Brick Fest 2016! One of the many awesome displays there was the PennLUG LEGO train layout. It has inspired me to do more and be prepared to bring my own creations next time. We have finished round 2. Getting ready for Round 3 – 8 locomotives left – Douglas, Duck, Bill, Ben, Henry, Thomas, Percy, & Gordon.
The next round should be closer races. We will try to include trackside interviews and color commentary. Maybe some trash talk? We will see
This began as a review of the Sodor Paint Shop and Steamworks Repair Shed from Fisher Price (Take N Play). Put when we realized we needed more track to effectively combine the two, we ended up with the Bridge Pack. Which naturally led to the Shark Exhibit. By the end Yoda was in the mix. But I decided to save the bulk of Yoda’s scenes for the next video!
Got Iron ‘Arry today and I did not realize how similar the Bachmann versions of ‘Arry and Bert were going to look. The Lionel versions are easier to tell apart. I actually lost track of which one was which and I had to watch a previous video to find out. The Iron Bert has some “battle damage” so I can spot him now.
I am working on a playlist for my friend AFOL Man. He has a couple of train crash videos. I am adding intros as part of a leanback. Still working on it. This is a sneak peak.
Got a new Track Master set. More fun with Thomas & Friends! This set comes with motorized Percy and a Harold the Helicopter static model that attaches to a track section that moves from one track location to another. A great source of accidents!
