Train Tsar Fun

Took some scenes from different videos and compiled into this. There are many more accidents to compile and more to come. Working on some future slot car and train crash videos soon.

TheyMightBeBricks joins me for some crashes with our mostly junk tank cars pulled by junk AT&SF locomotives. These toy trains are not the high quality stuff. Although I probably would get more use out of them if I did this on the floor. Most of the damage is as a result of fallen by from the table instead of the actual crash!

LEGO Duplo 3353 Spencer & Sir Topham Hatt

Having fun with the DUPLO Thomas & Friends sets. We plan to make videos with all the LEGO Thomas the Tank Engine sets. Will do like this video, show the main set and the put it in a scene with other stuff. Need more crashes next time!

My friend AFOL Man has posted a funny video of a train crash at a railroad crossing involving the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine and the Horizon Express at a railroad crossing. Also involved was a bystander with a selfie stick. Check it out!

I won this most awesome assortment of Percy the Small Engine items from Lrokimvideo on YouTube. To enter you needed to submit a video featuring at least 5 actual Percy models from your collection and be highly engaged in Leo’s channel. I love this collection but I also love what I learned from watching Leo’s videos. Initially I had only watched the videos that per!ained to his copyright strike from LEGO, then the problem he had with YouTube on options and control of his account. He has a very engaging personality and some funny things are bound to happen.

Initially, I intended to do more hauls in this format. I feel though that this would be a little boring for my core audience. So, lately, my hauls have gone on my original channel (root name: jolson37 “BrickTsar Toys”). Now hauls are pretty much box openings then play with the item. Most of my purchase come from eBay or Amazon as far as the train related items.

I love the Santa Fe Train sets that LEGO made. Wish they would do something like this again with the possiblilty of getting individual cars and locomotives instead of sets only. Here in this video is another look at my old city under construction. New and better layout coming to TrainTsarFun and BrickTsar.

I will be doing more LEGO train videos. My goal is to get all the 12v sets (trains and locomotives – but not accessories). I love this era of trains.

The 12v track has a center rail that has 2 conductors to deliver the DC power to the motor pickups. It was designed so that 4.5v track could be used or upgraded to work with 12v. Of course, you still could not do reversing loops without having a short circuit (unless you modified it yourself).

So stayed tuned to see more updates of my LEGO train layout – the CA & ABS Railroad. I may change the name, but right now I like it. It has a double meaning. 1) CA and ABS are the 2 main plastics that were used by LEGO. 2) The letters represent cities or regions of sons of my favorite YouTubers. It’s the Columbia and Atlanta & Atlanta, Bayou, and Smithton. Those are actually 2 different Atlanta cities!
